DML's OWNERSHIP HAS CHANGED............

In June 2007 DML was acquired by Babcock International Group PLC, a leading UK support services contractor. DML will form part of the newly created Babcock Marine business, focused on the naval support sector and other specialised commercial markets.

Over the coming months we'll be creating the Babcock Marine web-site. Meanwhile, this site (www.devonport.co.uk) will continue to provide information about the original DML business and its activitites. In parallel with this, we're working to develop the Babcock Marine brand which will replace the DML name in due course.

Babcock also operates and owns Rosyth Royal Dockyard and manages the Clyde Submarine Base at Faslane under a contract from the UK Ministry of Defence.

Babcock Marine contains a number of operational businesses that span these three principal locations, focussing on the provision of a range of maintenance, support, design and consultancy services to the Royal Navy and commercial clients.
